Miracles will never cease! In only the second attempt, Nolan’s Fierce Gardeners grew pumpkins in 2015. In spite of a crippling “weed” infection that choked all but the hardiest plants the garden produced 10 carving-sized pumpkins. Bonnie Odom-Brown, our fearless leader, was especially proud of the effort the young students put into nurturing the pumpkins along from seed to flower to fruit to harvest and yes, the carving!
Right before Halloween, last year, we had a pumpkin carving and decorating party for the kids. Every picture tells a story, right? Well from the pictures below the story is fun and happiness!!!
